9/11 Memorial Climb L3809 Participants

Current News from 3809

On September 11th, 2009, eight firefighters from L3809 took part in a memorial climb to honor the 343 of our brothers in FDNY which gave the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center Terrorist Attacks. Each of the L3809 firefighters carried the name of one of our brothers who perished that day over our name on our turnout jackets. We climbed for a total of 110 floors to commemorate the height of the World Trade Center Towers and delivered our fallen brothers names to the roof. The climb took place at the Renaissance tower in downtown Sacramento. This event was put on by Sacramento Area F/F L522 and all proceeds are going to the Windows and Orphans Fund for our fallen brother's families.
